- OA BK- MnCr

Welding Wire OA BK MnCr

OA MnCr  Flux-cored wire with outstanding high impact and abrasion resistance. Dynamang deposit is austenitic manganese steel containing chromium. It produces a tough, high-strength deposit that work hardens under impact. It is primarily used for the build-up, repair, and joining of manganese steel components in the rock crushing and mining industries. Deposit thickness is unlimited and can be flame cut without difficulty.

Application

Basic electrode for rebuilding and joining cold straining Mn steels or rebuilding parts that are subject to high impact and rolling wear. PROPERTIES There is no limit for the number of layers that can be applied in the case of rebuilding but heat input should be kept low (as for Mn steel, interpass temperature should be kept <250°C). Crusher rolls n Jaw and hammer crushers n Manganese buckets and teeth.

Instruction:

Weld with low heat input.

Use a stick-out (distance from the contact tip to the extremity of the wire) of 20 to 50 mm (1-2") for open arc welding.

For a correct wire feed, use appropriate drive rolls for cored wire in the wire feeder and a water-cooled torch that is smoothly inclined.
