- OA BK- Mn14

Welding Wire OA BK Mn14

OA Mn14  Flux cored wire with outstanding impact resistance with low abrasion resistance  . it is an austenitic manganese steel deposit which is suitable for multi-layer build up and has excellent work hardening characteristics. It can also be used to join austenitic manganese steels.

Applications

Welding parts of manganese steel that are exposed to impact and shock-like wear Hard facing of mining and rock-crushing machine parts as well as of hard manganese steel . austenitic manganese steel, high impact loads, hammers, crushers, Rock crushing and mining rebuilding, hard facing, rails, crossings, Breaker teeth, etc..

Instruction:

Weld with low heat input.

Use a stick-out (distance from the contact tip to the extremity of the wire) of 20 to 50 mm (1-2") for open arc welding.

For a correct wire feed, use appropriate drive rolls for cored wire in the wire feeder and a water-cooled torch that is smoothly inclined
