- E-BKhard 62S

Stainless Steel Welding Electrode E BK Hard 62 S

Extreme abrasion-resistant hard-facing alloy offers excellent wear resistance with medium impact. To be used for applications where release cracks are needed for good bonding.

Properties

Outstanding alloy against high abrasion when subjected to grinding and medium impact levels. Very Good bond on steel, cast steel, and manganese steel. Smooth deposit with very low friction coefficient.

Applications

Dredger teeth, grab jaws, stirring tools, mixers, wear plates, dredge pump parts, centrifugal pumps, augers, tillage tools.

Instruction:

Weld with low heat input.

Electrode to be held perpendicular to the workpiece.

For welding stainless steel, the coating must not be damaged and it is recommended to return over the starting point of the bead.

Preferred DC power supply, electric current should not be high.

Use weaving beads (do not stringer)

Peen the deposit after every pass to reduce stress build-up.
